Ingredients
2 c Farro
4 c Water
1 huge tomato (1lb) chopped
2 med onions/1 big, sliced
4 cloves garlic, sliced
red pepper flakes
2 T o’oil
parmesan
Preparation
farro into cold water, let sit 20 min, put ingredients one by one into pot, bring to boil, turn down to simmer, cook about 1 1/2 or so. Check for farro tenderness. Add salt and pepper and parmesan.
