Ingredients
3 Apples Peeled
5 tablespoon/s Sugar
2 1/2 cup/s Sugar
2 teaspoon/s Cinnamon
4 Eggs
1 cup/s Oil
1/4 cup/s Orange Juice
1 teaspoon/s Orange Zest
1 teaspoon/s Vanilla Extract
3 cup/s Flour
3 1/2 teaspoon/s Baking Powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325. Spray a bundt pan with baking spray. Peel the apples and shred them. Combine the shredded apples with 5 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. Mix the eggs, oil, juice, orange zest and vanilla and remaining sugar until well combined. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the batter and mix. Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the batter into the bundt pan. Drain the liquid from the apples. Spoon half of the apple mixture over the batter. Top with another 1 1/2 cups of batter. Spoon remaining apple mixture over batter, then pour the rest of the cake batter into the pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Cool and remove form pan.
