2 TBSP CORN SYRUP

2 1/2 CUPS APPLESAUCE

1 CUP NUTS

1 CUP RAISINS

Preparation

CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR GRADUALLY. ADD UNBEATEN EGGS ONE AT A TIME. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, SODA, SPICES AND SALT. ADD ALTERNA- TELY WITH COMBINED APPLESAUCE AND CORN SYRUP. FOLD IN NUTS AND RAISINS. POUR BATTER INTO A GREASED 13X9 PAN AND BAKE IN SLOW OVEN (325) FOR ABOUT 1 TO 1 1/2 HOUR, CHECK AFTER 1 HOUR.
