Ingredients

4 chicken breast halves, skin and excess fat removed

1 sm red bell pepper, seeded and chopped

1/4 t salt

1/2 t grd black pepper

1/4 t paprika

1 T cooking oil

1 medium onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 t dried rosemary leaves

1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes

1 pkg (10 oz) frozen peas

Preparation

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and brown; drain. Put chicken in stoneware liner.
  4. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except peas. Pour over chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low 8 hrs (high 4 hrs). One hour before serving add peas. Serve over rice.
