Ingredients

1 head cauliflower, broken into florets and par boiled and cooled

2 tbs butter

3 tbs dry bread crumbs

1 cup sour cream

1 cup grated swiss (fondue mix works well)

2 tbs flour

2 eggs separated

½ tsp salt

1 cup (or more) minced ham

Preparation

Butter a baking dish (9 x 12) with 1 tbs butter and coat with bread crumbs Blend sour cream, flour, cheese, egg yolks and season with salt Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt to stiff peaks and fold into the sour cream mixture Spread some sauce on bottom of pan, layer ½ cauliflower, layer ham, layer rest of the cauliflower and then the rest of the sauce. Sprinle with bread crumbs and dot 9liberally ) with butter. Bake at 300 for 30 min or until top is browned and bubbly. I prefer to let it set a bit before serving.
