Ingredients
1 lb. spicy ~~ hot pork sausage
10-12 oz. grated sharp cheddar cheese
3 cups Bisquick, or self rising flour
(Dash of Cayenne Pepper Optional)
Preparation
Combine all of your ingredients in a good sized mixing bowl until well incorporated. Add a dash of red cayenne pepper and black pepper to taste. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on an ungreased metal baking pan. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with salt and serve hot, warm or at room temperature
