Ingredients

2 bags Pepperidge Farm chessman cookies

6 to 8 bananas, sliced

2 c. milk

1 (5 oz) box instant French Vanilla pudding (can use 2 small boxes)

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened

1 (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 (12 oz) Cool Whip or Real Whipped Cream

Preparation

  1. Line the bottom of a 13x9x12 inch dish with 1 bag of cookies.
  2. Layer bananas on top (I mix them with a little lemon juice to keep them fresh longer).
  3. In a bowl, combine milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer.
  4. In another bowl, combine cream cheese and condensed milk and beat until smooth.
  5. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Add pudding mixture to cream cheese mixture and stir well until blended.
  7. Pour entire mixture over bananas and top with remaining cookies in the same manner as the bottom layer of cookies.
  8. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
