Ingredients
1 or 2 pounds of cubed beef
1/4 cup of onion, diced
1/2 stick of butter (4 Tablespoons)
beef bouillon cubes (1 large one, or 3 small ones)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans of water
dash of Worcestershire sauce (maybe 1/4 tsp)
12 ounces of egg noodles
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
salt & pepper to taste
Preparation
I break out my giant skillet for this. Melt butter and add onions and beef and cook on medium heat until beef is brown. Add in cream of mushroom soup and 2 cans of water, bouillon, Worcestershire, mushrooms, salt, pepper and egg noodles. Simmer on medium heat until egg noodles are soft. Add in sour cream and serve.
