Ingredients

3 cups self-rising flour

3 tablespoons of sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

12 ounces beer

4 tablespoons of butter (melted)

Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, salt, and beer in a mixing bowl. Scrape into a well-greased loaf pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 50 minutes. Pour melted butter over the top and bake 10 minutes longer. Cool on a rack.
