Ingredients
Layer 1
1 cup Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Confectioner’s Sugar
Pinch Salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into squares
1 Egg Yolk
Layer 2
2 cups store-bought Caramel Cream
1 1/2 cups Roasted Salted Peanuts, chopped
Layer 3
7 ounces Milk Chocolate
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Butter
Roasted, Salted Peanuts, chopped
Preparation
Layer 1 Combine ingredients for layer 1 until a dough forms. Press into 9x13 pan until smooth. Chill in the freezer for 20 minutes. Then immediately bake for 15 minutes. Cool.
Layer 2 Combine caramel cream and peanuts. Pour mixture over the first layer. Freeze until firm.
Layer 3 Melt chocolate and butter in microwave. Smooth mixture over the caramel layer. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Freeze until ready to serve.
To serve, slice into squares while still slightly frozen. Bring to room temerapture for at least 15 minutes.
