Ingredients
1 cup suet
1 cup chunky peanut butter
3 cups instant oats
3 cups cornmeal
wild bird seed or nuts
Preparation
Mix 1 cup of melted suet with cup of chunky peanut butter. Heat the fat and peanut butter until melted and hot. Add 3 cups of instant oats and stir. Next, at 3 cups of cornmeal. You can add raisins, berries, chopped peanuts, wild bird seed or nuts to the mix. This mix can be put into a log with holes drilled into it. The holes should be widely spaced and staggered so the birds do not rub their feathers on the mix. The mix can also be put into an empty half coconut shell or stuffed into a very large cone and hung in a tree.
