Ingredients
1 Cup Shortening (3/4 Veg. Shortening, 1/4 butter)
1 lb. confectioners’ sugar
Few grains salt
4 to 5 T. Liquid
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, add salt. Beat in liquid (milk or cream) a little at a time. (add just enough liquid to give a good spreading consistency). Add Vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
