Ingredients

1 lb thick cut bacon

1 c raw sugar

parchment/non stick foil

rimmed cookie sheet

cooling rack

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400. Either bake bacon on rack, on parchment/foil lined cookie sheet for 5-8 min, or pre fry it just till the fat starts to melt, then drain. If frying 1st, place bacon on rack, then sprinkle with raw sugar. Turn and sprinkle other side with remaining sugar. Put back in 400 oven for another 8-10 min, turning after 4-5 min.
