Ingredients

25g unsalted butter

4 pears

75g light soft brown sugar

Low fat natural yogurt (Optional)

Preparation

Melt 25g unsalted butter in a frying pan. Add 4 pears, peeled, cored and halved, and cook very gently for 5 minutes, until tender. Add 75g light brown sugar and cook until the sugar has dissolved into the juices and the pears are well coated. Serve the pears on their own or with a little low fat natural yogurt.
