Ingredients

1 Md onion chopped

1 Cube margarine, divided

2lb bag of frozen hash browns thawed

1 can cream of chicken soup

8 oz sour cream

2 Cups grated cheese

2 Cups crushed corn flakes

Preparation

Saute onion in 1/2 cube margarine. Add potatoes, soup, sour cream and cheese. Stir. Turn into a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with crushed corn flakes, then drizzle with 1/2 cube melted margarine. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. (Cover with foil the last 15 minutes to prevent over-browning, if needed.)
