Ingredients
3 lb chicken cut in pieces
4 T butter
1 small onion, chpd
3 T flour
1 C water
1 C sour cream
4 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 T sherry
Preparation
Brown chicken in butter until brown on all sides. Place in 2 qt casserole. Add onion to skillet and cook until softened but not brown. Stir in flour then add water and sour cream. Cook until thickens. Add seasonings and pour over chicken. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Add sherry to gravy
