Ingredients
2 cup milk , warmed to lukewarm
6 egg yolks
2 eggs
1/2 c sugar
12 Tbsp butter, very soft or melted
2 pkges yeast
1/4 tsp salt
8 cups flour or necessary
filling
16 oz brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
3tbsp butter
pinch salt
Frosting
cream cheese, 1/2 cup
6tbsp milk
3 cups powdered sugar
Preparation
In bread bowl mix milk, sugar, 1 cup flour and yeast. Leave for 10 minutes Add butter, eggs and 3 cups flour, salt. Work with bread machine for 20 minutes, adding more flour until dough smooth and stretchy. Put in oiled bowl and allow to rise for 1-2hours.
Stretch and roll , put butter and cinnamon, brown sugar and walnuts and roll into a log. Cut slices 1and 1/2 inches. Put in greased pan close to each other. Either allow to rise for 30 and bake at 350x30min or til golden brown You can cover with plastic and aluminum foil. Freeze. When ready to cook, take out to fridge for 24 hours, then outside for 30-60 minutes until it has risen. Then cook at 350x30min. When done, remove from oven, let cool a bit, then spread with frosting. For frosting beat cream cheese with milk and powdered sugar.
