Ingredients
2 qts water
1 c. onions, cut in slivers
1 C carrots cut in thin rounds
1/2 c leeks, sliced
1/4 c celery cut in slivers
2 bay leaves
3 cloves
1/2 t. black pepper
2 c white wine
2 T. white wine vinegar
2 T. salt
Preparation
Place all ingredients into 3 qt. pot and bring to boil. Reduce heat & simmer for 30 min. uncovered. Remove from heat & cool. Transfer liquid & veges to bowl & store in fridge til needed. Strain just prior to use.
