Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoon water
7 tablespoon shortening
Preparation
- Sift flour into salt and cheese, mixing thoroughly.
- Cut in the shortening, mixing well.
- Sprinkle with water until flour is moistened.
- Form into bite-sized balls (bigger than a quarter, smaller than a golf ball).
- Bake at 350 until the bottoms begin to turn light brown. (They’re perfect for a toaster oven!)
- Allow to cool, and serve!
