Ingredients

2 or 3 cans whole water chestnuts, well drained

1 lb bacon cut each strip into thirds

Sauce Ingredients:

1 C Ketchup

1 C brown sugar

1 T Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Wrap each water chestnut with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a cookie sheet that has edges. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until bacon is cooked and crisp. Transfer each one to a pretty oblong casserole. Sauce: Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour sauce over the bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Serve warm. A warming tray will keep them perfect.
