Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ( can substitute cardamom)
2/3 cup butter
1 slightly beaten egg
1/4 cup egg nog
Preparation
Cookies Combine first 5 ingredients Cut in butter until in pea sized pieces Make a well in center and combine egg and egg nog and combine until dough is mixed evenly Cover and chill at least 2 hours Roll out and cut cookies Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes
Egg nog glaze Combine 3 cups powdered sugar 1/4 teaspoon rum extract 2-3 tablespoon egg nog
