Ingredients

1 1/3 c sugar

1/3 c flour

4 drops almond extract

4 cups sour cherries, plus

pie shells

Preparation

Mix together ingredients and let sit to get juices flowing. Pour into unbaked pie shell and make lattice top. Bake for 10 min at 425 then turn oven down to 375 and bake for at least 1 hr till bubbly. May need to turn oven down to 350 if browning too fast
