Ingredients

cream together:

1/2 c butter

1/2 c brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla

stir in:

1 c sifted flour

1/2 c Grape Nuts

Preparation

When well mixed press evenly into bottom of greased 9x9 pan. Bake at 375F for 15 mins or til golden. It is important to cool slightly. Melt 1 6oz pkg milk choc pieces. Spread evenly over baked crust & sprinkle with addtl 1/2 c of Grape Nuts. Press down Grape Nuts a little so they don’t loosen. Put back in oven for 5 mins. Cut bars while still warm then cool completely before removing from pan. Take them to a picnic in the pan, they are great.
