Ingredients

1 lb ground lamb

1 1/2 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp cumin

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp. lemon zest

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine lamb with all ingredients until mixed evenly. Divide the meat mixture into 6-8 sections. Roll each by hand into thick tubes, then flatten until relatively thin, resulting in an oval shape. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties on both sides. Suggested toppings: salad greens, tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, cucumbers, pitted olives, goat cheese, and tzatziki sauce.
