Ingredients
3 cups canned green beans
2 T bacon fat
4 small potatoes cooked with skins on
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 T flour
1 cup sour cream
2 T lemon juice and grated rind
1 t sugar
2 eggs beaten
Preparation
Heat beans in their own liquid, add potatoes. Saute onion in bacon fat until soft. Add flour then cream and cook til thick. Add lemon juice and egg. Return to fire and cook until practically all liquid is absorbed.
