Ingredients

4 cups old-fashioned oats

1.5 cups sliced almonds

1.5 cups chopped pecans

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Optional: raisins, dried cranberries, coconut, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300. In a bowl, mix oats, nuts, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. In a saucepan bring oil and honey to a boil, remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour mixture over oat mixture and stir with spoon. Bake on a large rimmed pan stirring occasionally until top layer is golden brown. Add raisins or cranberries if desired. Let cool before serving.
