Ingredients
1/2 pound butter, softened
3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, finely diced
12 slices virginia brand ham
4 slices Muenster cheese
8 slices country or Italian bread
Preparation
- Combine first four ingredients in a mixing bowl until well blended
- Spread about a teaspoon of the butter mixture onto each slice of bread
- Place one slice of ham on 4 pieces of bread and place two slices on the remaining four.
- Put one slice of Muenster cheese on each of the four pieces of bread with one slice of ham
- Assemble the sandwiches, pairing a piece of bread with cheese to one that lacks it.
- Butter a hot panini pan, panini press, or nonstick pan.
- Grill the sandwiches until golden brown on each side, gently pressing down on the tops if necessary.
