Ingredients

4 - 5 lbs pork spare ribs

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 can pineapple chunks

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1 1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon ginger powder or fresh ginger

2 cloves garlic crushed

salt & pepper to taste

cornstarch

1 tablespoon peanut oil (substitute shortening, sesame or vegetable oil)

Preparation

Dust ribs with cornstarch Heat dutch oven or medium pot on medium high heat Sear ribs on each side, 3 - 4 minutes per rib. Set aside ribs Mix all ingredients and add ribs Cook ribs on simmer for 45 - 1 hour until tender
