Ingredients

3/4 cup JIF creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup Crisco

1 1/4 cups brown sugar

3 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 egg

1 3/4 cups all purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

-Preheat oven to 375 degrees. -Combine peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. -Mix with electric mixer until well blended. -Add egg, blend. -Separately combine flour, salt, and baking soda; add into creamed mixture at low speed. -Drop heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto un-greased baking sheet. -Flatten with fork. -Bake 7-8 minutes.
