Ingredients

6 T garlic

4 T olive oil

32 oz chicken broth

1 16-oz can diced tomatoes

12 oz linguine or spaghetti, cooked

1 bag fresh spinach

1 cup fresh basil leaves

1 cup shaved parmesan

Preparation

  1. Brown olive oil and garlic in a large saucepan for 2 - 3 minutes.

  2. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Turn off heat.

  3. Stir in pasta until thoroughly heated.

  4. Add spinach and basil until wilted, but still green.

  5. Top with parmesan and serve with hot Italian bread.
