Ingredients
1-1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
3 bananas
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnuts
Frosting
1/2 cup butter
8 ounces cream cheese
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Heat oven to 375. Grease and flour 9 x 13 pan. Beat together sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs until creamy. Blend in bananas and vanilla extract. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and blend for 1 minute. Stir in walnuts.
Spread batter evenly into pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
For frosting, beat butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar together. Add vanilla.
Using a spatula, spread the frosting over the cooled bars.
