Ingredients

1 butternut squash

oil

1 onion

2 shallots

2 thumb size ginger

1/4 jalapeño

salt

pepper

honey

11/2 pears

broth

thyme

cream

Preparation

bake squash (seeds removed) skin side up in 2 inches of water. Bake 40 minutes until tender. heat oil, onion, shallots, ginger, jalapeño, salt, pepper. Add Pears, cook 5 minutes. Add Squash. Stir in broth, honey, thyme. Bring to boil and simmer. Add cream.
