Ingredients
2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
Water as Needed
2 Tsp Ghee
Salt to taste
Preparation
- Mix flour, 1 tsp ghee and salt with just enough water to make a smooth dough (can add the ghee and salt only in step 3 also)
- Divide into four balls and roll into four flat discs For each disc:
- Brush both sides with ghee (and sprinkle with salt if you have not yet)
- Cut strips approx a thumbs witdth wide
- Roll a strip into a coil and keep rolling strips together to make one large disc again
- Carefully, flatten with your hands as to preserve the semi fused layers (~1/8 inch thick)
- Add ghee to a pan over medium heat and cook, flipping once, until both sides are golden brown
