Ingredients

1 lemon, halved

1/2 C water

1/4 C sugar

2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 C water

1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Squeeze 2 T juice from lemon and place juice in saucepan. Add lemon halves, water and sugar and bring to boil. Stir in dissolved cornstarch and vanilla. Cook 1 min. over high heat, stirring. Strain, squeezing the sauce from the lemon rinds. Makes 3/4 C. Serve warm over bread pudding
