Ingredients
For the base:
2 sticks butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
For the top:
4 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice (Karen used 1-2 T more)
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
For the base: Melt butter and cream in sugar and flour. Spread in a 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
For the top: In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs well. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour over crust and return to oven. Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
