Ingredients

1 package vermicelli or spaghettini

4 slices bacon – chopped

Olive Oil as needed

3 cloves of garlic, diced

4 eggs – beaten

1 cup Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped parsley or basil

salt and pepper

Preparation

Cook pasta al dente; drain.

Meanwhile, saute bacon slowly; add garlic during last 2 minutes.

Beat eggs in large bowl. Add parsley. Add hot pasta and toss quickly. Add cooking water as necessary.

Add bacon and drippings and toss quickly.

Add cheese (not all at once) and toss.

Adjust seasoning. Pepper should be dominant.
