Ingredients
1/2 lb. matzo
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 cup slivered almonds
Preparation
- Lay matzo in single layer on foil-covered cookie sheet(s). Heat oven to 450.
- In small pan, over medium heat, melt butter and sugar.
- Boil until it coats spoon (appx. 5 minutes)
- Pour over matzo.
- Bake less than 4 minutes. Watch that it doesn’t burn.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips.
- Bake 1 minute.
- Carefully spread chocolate.
- Spring with nuts.
- Refrigerate. Break apart and enjoy.
