Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground veal
1 lb. ground pork
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. Dijon mustard
1/3 C. oatmeal
1/3 C. crushed saltine crackers
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 C. milk
2 garlic cloves, chopped, saute in oil
salt and pepper
1/2 C. parsley chopped
1/2 C. thyme
On Top:
1 C. catsup
3 T. red wine vinegar
1-2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 strips of bacon
Preparation
Mix all the meatloaf ingredients together. It shouldn’t stick to the bowl. Put into a foil-lined and sprayed pan about 5 x 9 inches.
Cover with the “on top” ingredients. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 1 hour until internal temperature is 160 degrees.
To grill Cook in pan over indirect grill heat for about 2 hours.
