Ingredients

200 g sugar

A pinch of salt

A pinch of cinnamon

200 g hazelnuts, ground

150 g plain chocolate, chopped

300 g flour

1 sachet dry yeast (7g)

200 g butter, melted and cooled

4 eggs, beaten

250 ml very strong black coffee

Preparation

  1. Mix and combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, hazelnuts and chocolate.
  2. Sieve the flour and yeast and add to the mixture, stir and combine.
  3. Add eggs, butter and coffee, mix and combine thoroughly with the hand mixer.
  4. Pour the batter into the small baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 60 minutes or until done. Leave to cool.
  5. Cut the cake into squares before serving. You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or grated chocolate.
