Ingredients

2 C self-rising flour

1/2 t salt

1/2 t cayenne

1 1/4 C cream and water (50/50)

1 C shredded cheddar cheese

few shakes of parmesan

Preparation

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Add cheese.
  3. Add liquid gradually and stir.
  4. Cut dough into 3 pieces
  5. Knead, pat, and roll out to 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut out with shot glass.
  7. Cook at 350 about 10 min until just brown.
  8. Can be frozen and reheated at 350 for 5 min.

Serve with Chive Butter: Mix softened butter with lots of snipped chives.
