Ingredients:

1/2 c. butter (1 stick)

1/2 c. chopped pecans

1 T. sugar

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

1 c. all-purpose flour

Sifted powdered (confectioner’s) sugar, or unsifted (about 1-2 c.)

Preparation

Cream butter and tablespoon of sugar.

Add flour, pecans and vanilla.

Work dough with hands.

Roll into small bars about the size of your thumb.

Bake at 425 degrees for about 10-12 minutes.

When done roll immediately in powdered sugar.

Use a spatula to move from pan to sugar. Enjoy!
