Ingredients

2 cups butter

2 cups sugar

2 cups brown sugar

5 eggs

4 t vanilla

4 cups flour

5 cups oatmeal (put small amounts in blender after measuring until it turns to powder)

1 t salt

2 t baking powder

2 t baking soda

750g chocolate chips (can also use peanut m&m’s)

250g grated chocolate

3 cups chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream together butter & sugars, add eggs & vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

Mix these above ingredients together, and add chocolate and nuts.

Place golf-ball sized cookies 5 cm apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 190°C for 6 - 8 minutes.

Apparently you shouldn’t halve the recipe.
