Ingredients
1 lb hamburger
1 c. diced onions
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp white vinegar
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup yellow mustard
6 cups water
Preparation
- Brown the hamburger with the onions
- Add the sugar and vinegar
- Add the crushed corn flakes and stir until thoroughly mixed in
- Add half the water and cook for 10 minutes or until the water is absorbed
- Add the ketchup, mustard and remaining water and cook until the remaining water is absorbed
- Serve on hamburger buns (note: my eldest son and I liked to hollow out the bun cap to add more bbq to the sandwich)
