Ingredients

Crust:

2 C all purpose flour

1/2 C powdered sugar

1 C butter, softened

Filling:

4 eggs, slightly beaten

2 C sugar

1/4 C flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 C lemon juice

Glaze:

1 C powdered sugar

2-3 T lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. In a large bowl combine flour, powdered sugar, and butter at low speed until crumbly.

  3. Press mixture evenly into bottom of ungreased 13x9 pan.

  4. Bake 20-30 min or until light golden brown.

  5. In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder; blend well.

  6. Stir in lemon juice.

  7. Pour mixture over warm crust.

  8. Return to oven and bake 25-30 min. or until top is light golden brown.

  9. Cool completely.

  10. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and enough lemon juice for desired glaze consistency; blend until smooth.

  11. Drizzle over cooled bars. Cut into 36 bars.
