Ingredients

4 cups flour

1/2 pound butter

1 egg

1 cup milk

1/4 cup sugar

2 packages yeast

2 cups chopped walnuts

1 cup sugar

1 pound poppyseed, ground

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups milk

Preparation

Mix milk, sugar and yeast and let stand 5 minutes. Add egg, butter and flour. Knead and let stand until double. Divide into 4 parts. Roll out and spread with filling and roll. Bake at 350.

Nut Filling Scald 1/2 cup milk Add 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar and cook until sugar melts. Let cool. Add nuts and 1 egg.

Poppyseed Filling Cook remaining ingredients 5 minutes
