Ingredients
1 cup soft margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup boiling water
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup chocolate chips
Preparation
Mix margarine sugars and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy Add flour and salt Dissolve baking soda in the boiling water and add to first mixture Stir in oats, coconut and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon full on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 12 min.
