Ingredients
1 1/2 c. flour
1 C. quick rolled oats
1 T baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt2 eggs slightly beaten
1 1/2 C. milk
6 T margarine, melted
2 T. brown sugar
Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, site together flour, lasts, baking powder, cinnamon,and salt: set aside. In a small bowl. stir together eggs, milk, butter, and brown sugar. Add to flour mixture; stir until blended. Pour batter onto griddle of preheated lightly greased waffle iron( amounts will vary with size of waffle iron). Close lid quickly; do not open during baking. Use fork to remove baked waffle.
Top with fresh fruit, pie filling or yogurt or syrup. Make 12 waffles (4 inch square each), about 6 servings.
