Ingredients
2 1/2 cups uncooked old fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1 cup butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment.
Combine oats, flour walnuts, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
In stand mixer, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients just until combines.
Drop by level tablespoon 2 inches apart on prepared sheets.
Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool on sheets 5 minutes, transfer to racks to cool completely.
