Ingredients
6 med. onions, peeled and sliced
2 T butter
8 oz cheddar cheese
35 Ritz crackers
1 can green chilies
salt and pepper
Preparation
Place onion slices in saucepan with enough water to cover. Boil then drain onions until dry. Return to saucepan. Add butter, salt and pepper and heat. Layer onions, cracker crumbs and chilies in a buttered 1 1 /2 qt. casserole. Bake 30 min at 325.
