Ingredients

1 pound fresh crab claw meat

2 cups of shredded Swiss cheese

1/2 cup finely chopped green onions

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups of mayo

salt and pepper to taste

For the sandwiches -

4 (8 inch) loaves of NOLA style French bread or baguette, cut into 4 pieces, sliced in half

Preparation

Remove crab meat from shells and combine with cheese, mayo, green onions, and salt and pepper.

SANDWICHES - Spread crab mixture over bread and bake open-faced at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Broil for a few seconds, if you wish.

DIP - If you’re making it as a dip, place ingredients into a shallow dish, and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, until it starts to bubble.
